About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle movement in accordance with site policies, helping to support orderly operations at the location.
Report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and assist with follow-up actions in accordance with post instructions.
