As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Entry Driver in Toronto, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry at the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or access control during emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues and promote a secure environment at the location.
