As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol the premises at a dynamic manufacturing location, helping to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, interact with personnel and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Provide customer service to individuals entering or exiting the location, addressing questions and offering directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities observed during shifts.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders in the event of an emergency or critical incident.
