As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries related to access procedures and security-related matters.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and other security-related events as required by site procedures.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any security-related issues or emergencies.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with emergency services.
