As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, applying problem-solving skills and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and actions taken during the shift, maintaining clear and accurate records as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, supporting site personnel and first responders during drills and actual events.
