Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will support access control by checking credentials, issuing badges, and guiding employees and visitors with professional customer service. You will monitor assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. This is a driving post, so a valid drivers license is required under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, issuing visitor badges, and directing guests to the appropriate check-in locations.
• Operate access control points for a manufacturing and industrial location by verifying identification, reviewing delivery and contractor documentation, and controlling entry and exit for people and vehicles.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other access systems; document activity and notify appropriate contacts when unusual conditions or access issues are observed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site-specific emergency response activities and coordinating with on-site teams as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter; report hazards, unsecured doors, and/or suspicious activity per post orders.
