As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated manufacturing and industrial locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for all personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining clear communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to play a key role in fostering a secure and positive environment for everyone on site. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to questions or concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including following evacuation procedures and/or notifying appropriate personnel.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
