As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at this retail location, you will conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and remain highly visible to those onsite. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with the public, and embody our values of teamwork, agility, and integrity while helping to create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM Fri 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local authorities as needed.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
Assist with access control and provide directions or assistance to visitors and tenants as needed.
