As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment at a bustling retail or mall location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and foster a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related needs and provide assistance as needed.
