As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order within the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain a visible presence to assist with customer inquiries and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and support overall operations.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings, adapting to changing conditions and responding appropriately to site-specific needs.
