As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a positive atmosphere, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or potential risks within the location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying authorization of individuals as needed, and helping to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Provide support during emergency situations, such as evacuations or medical incidents, following established protocols and communicating with emergency services if necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
