Job Description As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Route in Greenville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct regular driving patrols throughout the facility to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and demonstrate our values of reliability, innovation, and teamwork while upholding integrity in every interaction as part of the Allied Universal team. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site procedures.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures while performing assigned duties.
