As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential issues and offer assistance to customers, visitors, and staff as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
Collaborate with site management, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client, adapting to changing environments and conditions within the retail setting.
