Job Description As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driving Role in Johnstown, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will engage with staff and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports related to daily activities and incidents.
- Work collaboratively with store personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a welcoming and secure environment for customers and staff.
