Job Description As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with customers and staff, offering exceptional customer service while upholding our values of reliability, agility, and teamwork. This position requires a valid driver's license as you will be responsible for driving during your patrol duties.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any irregularities.
- Monitor the premises for potential security-related concerns, reporting any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, customers, and/or employees with directions or information as needed, maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence within the location.
- Complete required reports and documentation related to daily activities, incidents, and/or observed issues during patrols.
