Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail mall location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and employees at a retail and mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, retail corridors, parking structures and/or surface lots, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, loitering, and/or policy violations, and report observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, disturbances, and/or medical situations as directed by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or maintenance hazards, and communicate findings to management and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
