Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with crowd and line management during busy periods, and address customer concerns or policy questions in a professional manner.
Support daily operations by observing for maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, then reporting concerns through appropriate channels for follow-up.
