As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service while patrolling retail locations. Your visible presence and regular patrols help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or persons to assist in maintaining a secure environment for customers and staff.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific guidelines.
- Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or concerns encountered during patrols.
- Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft or property damage within the location.
