Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the retail location, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any concerns.
Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the site's security-related procedures.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with site management and Allied Universal as needed.
