As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Euless, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will perform routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and responsive support to onsite teams and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license under the AU Driver Policy Requirements, backed by Allied Universals agile, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and communications location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe entry and exit activity; verify identification, visitor authorization, and/or deliveries per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken and promptly notify site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Complete shift activity reports and incident reports, communicate noteworthy information during post handoff, and maintain a professional presence while supporting day-to-day operations.
