The Security Officer's main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for our guests and team members while protecting company assets. Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish).
Perform all duties in accordance with Caesars Entertainment policies and procedures.
Routinely patrol assigned areas while providing assistance and being alert for suspicious circumstances or individuals.
Know where all emergency equipment and exits are.
Relay any incident which would warrant security intervention to Security Dispatch.
Be prepared to respond to assist fellow team members at any time.
Display a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor at all times.
Record daily activities and document various occurrences as needed.
Exercise good judgment in solving problems.
Facilitate resolution of complaints through personal action and coordination with other departments.
Oversee and facilitate training ensuring all team members meet safety best practices.
Provide assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court.
Provide medical assistance as a 'First Responder' when necessary.
Interview, investigate, and document all applicable incidents requiring Security intervention.
Enforce all company policies and procedures.
Meet the required attendance guidelines for the job.
Follow and comply with the departmental policy concerning the 'Use of Force'.
Respond to areas of need when dispatched in a timely manner.
Demonstrate safe work practices and understanding of safety requirements.
Communicate professionally in all email correspondence.
Hit deadlines and complete job tasks as set by leadership.
Be flexible to schedule additional hours if needed.
Support team compliance to company and department policies and procedures.
Issue discipline for violations to procedures when required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong computer skills (MS products including Excel).
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
1 to 2 years preferred prior security experience.
Ability to manage several tasks at once.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to obtain and possess a Nevada Gaming Card, an Alcohol Awareness Card (AES), and have a current and valid Nevada Driver's License.
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
