Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Unit in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a secure environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related risks.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the location.
Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and management to address concerns and provide information as needed.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points in accordance with site policies.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with Allied Universal and local authorities when required.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
