As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team, and provide customer-focused assistance to drivers, employees, and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, open doors, or property concerns.
• Control access at entrances and vehicle checkpoints by verifying identification, directing visitors and drivers, issuing passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs per site policy.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and communications systems, document observations in daily activity reports, and escalate maintenance or security-related concerns through the chain of command.
