Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics X-Ray Screener Full-Time in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or materials entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the logistics and distribution environment.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, staff, and contractors.
