Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Visitor Desk in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout the site. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and communication while working in a team-oriented environment that values reliability, integrity, and innovation.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a professional presence.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related objectives specific to the logistics environment.
