About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Verification in Mooresville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Assist with screening individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols to help to deter unauthorized access.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter prohibited items from being brought into the facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel to provide information and direction as needed.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure environment.
