About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location, including access control duties.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual conditions.
Assist visitors, contractors, and employees with access procedures as required by site policy.
Document and report all security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal standards.
Support emergency response activities as needed, maintaining communication with site management and Allied Universal supervisors.
