As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screening of personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain site-specific protocols.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with access procedures and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
- Carry out security-related procedures according to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and identify any irregularities.
- Document and report observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related issues at the logistics and distribution location.
