As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening procedures for individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or drivers with inquiries and directions as needed.
Carry out security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, engaging with appropriate emergency response activities when necessary.
Monitor and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site management.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to uphold security-related standards and maintain a professional presence at the location.
