As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screening procedures for individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or drivers with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Carry out security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, engaging with appropriate emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Monitor and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site management.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to uphold security-related standards and maintain a professional presence at the location.
