As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
PLEASE COME DRESSED IN BUSINESS ATTIRE CLOTHING.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to support a secure and orderly environment.
Maintain accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
