As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by screening personnel and visitors, verifying credentials, monitoring activity, and performing routine patrols of assigned areas. Your visible presence, clear communication, and customer service mindset help to reduce security-related issues while you document observations and report concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen and verify employee, contractor, and visitor credentials at entry points, following access control requirements and documenting entries and exits as required.
• Monitor inbound and outbound activity such as truck check-ins, driver verification, and dock area access in support of site operations, reporting irregularities per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications, written reports, and/or incident logs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, dock areas, and perimeter, observing for conditions that may help to reduce risk and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
