As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
Conduct screening of individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location to help to deter prohibited items and maintain compliance with site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site instructions.
Perform regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers to address questions or concerns related to security-related procedures.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including evacuations and coordination with local authorities when required.
