About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Saint Peters, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide excellent customer service, and support a collaborative environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing assigned duties.
Document and report all incidents and security-related activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
