About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Hermitage, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will engage with people on-site, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter areas.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the logistics and distribution environment by maintaining a visible presence.
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or site-specific needs.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials for individuals entering and exiting the location as required.
Support emergency response efforts and follow established protocols for various situations that may arise at the site.
