You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents within the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Communicate and collaborate with team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment.
Document and report incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues as observed during patrols.
Assist in implementing emergency procedures and support evacuation processes if required.
