About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Full Time in Hebron, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the logistics and distribution environment to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document observations and report security-related incidents or concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership as required.
