As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within logistics and distribution locations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding any security-related incidents or concerns.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide assistance to personnel and visitors as needed.
