About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist in Fulton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and observe for any irregular conditions within the logistics and distribution environment.
Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences observed during patrols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.
Remain alert to potential risks or issues within the logistics and distribution location and promptly escalate concerns as needed.
