As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity during patrols and report observations according to established protocols.
Assist with controlling access to designated areas within the location, verifying credentials and/or identification as needed.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding incidents, issues, or concerns.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
