As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution and logistics location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual conditions encountered during patrols.
Assist in controlling access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing duties.
Document incidents and/or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
Support Allied Universal management in maintaining a secure and orderly environment for the logistics and distribution operations.
