About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Monitor in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will remain visible throughout your shifts and provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and its perimeter.
Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
Document and report any observed irregularities or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while performing patrol duties.
