As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, assisting staff and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Assist with access control procedures for staff, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
- Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings while on duty to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
