As an unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for navigating the property as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter theft, loss, or unauthorized access.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual observations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the location.
Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with local emergency services as needed.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to provide guidance and promote a secure environment.
