About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Facility in Pryor, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your presence and attention to detail help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the site, and play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment that reflects our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter theft, loss, or other security-related incidents.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.
Support emergency response efforts as needed, including coordinating with local authorities and/or site management.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
