As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role will involve monitoring assigned areas, interacting professionally with staff and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily responsibilities. With a focus on teamwork, integrity, and innovation, you will contribute to a welcoming environment where people always come first.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to monitor for potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual conditions discovered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Document all activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
