Security Officer - Logistics Facility Access
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Logistics Facility Access in Flagstaff, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions within the logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns.
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including alerting appropriate personnel and following emergency protocols.
- Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
