As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Monitor in Olathe, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
Conduct identification and verification checks for individuals entering or exiting the location to support site-specific policies.
Provide excellent customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries from employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, utilizing problem-solving skills and following established emergency response activities.
Perform regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities according to company and client procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address and resolve security-related concerns as they arise.
