As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter potential issues, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Manage access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors with site-specific protocols and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including responding to alarms and/or incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols, maintaining communication with Allied Universal and local authorities as needed.
Monitor surveillance systems and/or security-related equipment to identify and report unusual activity within the logistics and distribution environment.
