As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attentive customer service will play a key role in fostering a positive atmosphere for staff and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe activities within the logistics and distribution environment to help to deter potential problems.
Communicate professionally and promptly with site management, Allied Universal, and/or local authorities as required.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs according to post orders and company procedures.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter unwanted activity and contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors.
