As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Monitor in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting access control protocols for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers at the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
Verify identification, credentials, delivery information, and/or vehicle details before permitting access to restricted areas, loading zones, docks, and other designated points throughout the location.
Monitor gates, lobbies, and/or truck access points, maintain accurate logs of visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual behavior or unauthorized access attempts.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing operational areas, trailers, parking areas, and warehouse surroundings to help support security-related procedures.
